Show notes:
In keeping with the highlighting nature of this release (as with the previous highlights release), these notes will be brief and to the point.
Two notes, then.
First note: Mal says “Hey, friend. Catch a bubble” Steve had to look up the phrase to find out what it means. Apparently it’s used by teachers of young children as a way to suggest that they stop talking and attend to what’s going on in class, perhaps supplemented by the notion that if a bubble is in your mouth you mustn’t pop it by talking.
Second note: Here, as it appears in Steve’s high school yearbook (scribbled on by a classmate), is a picture of him wearing the pork-pie hat referred to in Ep. 20 and these highlights. In the photo, he is seated at a keyboard while the band he was in plays at a dance. The yearbook photo is in black and white; in real life, the hat was a sort of medium blue. Was it cooler in color? ‘Twas not.

Cowabunga!
